THERMOMETER TUBING

Accu-Glass manufactures thermometer glass for clinical, industrial, scientific, novelty and red reading process thermometers.  We manufacture the tubing in various lengths depending on customer preferences (usually 45" to 65").

Clinical tubing is produced in a prismatic and a flat shape.  The backing is either white or yellow and most tubing has the ends flame-sealed to prevent particulate and moisture from entering the bore.

Industrial and scientific thermometer tubing can be round or prismatic shaped and is generally larger diameter than clinical (up to 7 mm).  The tubing can be produced with white or yellow backing.

Novelty thermometer tubing is mostly prismatic shaped and usually has a white back.   These thermometers are primarily used for advertising and promotion.
